Ingredients
- 4 chicken breasts
- 2 lemons (zested and juiced)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 teaspoons black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine lemon juice, lemon zest, olive oil, black pepper, garlic powder, salt, and onion powder to create the marinade.
- Place the chicken breasts in a zip-top bag or shallow dish, pour the marinade over, seal, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours.
- Preheat the grill or oven to medium-high heat.
- Remove chicken from the marinade and discard the marinade.
- Grill or bake the chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side, or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- Remove from heat, let rest for a few minutes, and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
