Description

Ingredients

  • 8 oz whole-wheat pasta
  • 2 cups cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Cook the whole-wheat pasta according to package instructions in salted boiling water.
  2. In a pan, heat olive oil over medium heat until gleaming.
  3. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  4. Add halved cherry tomatoes and cook until they soften.
  5. Drain the pasta and add it to the pan.
  6. Toss the pasta with tomatoes, basil, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  7. Serve warm, optionally adding grated parmesan.
