Ingredients
- 1 cup millet
- 4 cups water or milk
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
- 1 cup mixed berries
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
Instructions
- Rinse the millet under cold water.
- In a pot, combine millet, water or milk, and salt.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
- Stir in honey or maple syrup and cinnamon.
- Serve warm, topped with mixed berries.
Notes
For best results, add berries just before serving. Rinse millet thoroughly to avoid bitterness.
