Ingredients
- 8 oz elbow macaroni
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1 cup diced bell peppers
- 1 cup shredded carrots
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the macaroni according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a pot, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the flour, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until smooth.
- Gradually whisk in the milk. Cook until thickened.
- Add the cheese and stir until melted.
- Add the broccoli, bell peppers, and carrots. Cook for 5 minutes.
- Combine the cheese sauce with macaroni. Mix well.
- Serve hot.
