Delicious vegan doughnuts made with flaky puff pastry, sweet apples, and rich vegan caramel sauce.
Ingredients
- Puff pastry
- Apples
- Vegan caramel sauce
- Sugar
- Cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry and cut it into doughnut shapes.
- In a bowl, mix diced apples with sugar and cinnamon.
- Place the apple mixture in the center of half the doughnuts and cover with the other half. Press the edges to seal.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Once cooled, drizzle with vegan caramel sauce and serve.
Notes
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for a day or refrigerate for up to three days. Can be frozen for up to a month.
