Description

  • 1/2 cup milk

  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
  3. Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  4. Heat oil in a deep fryer or a deep pot to 350°F (175°C).
  5. Drop spoonfuls of the dough into the hot oil and fry until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes on each side.
  6. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.
  7. While still warm, dust with powdered sugar. Serve immediately and enjoy!
