Description
Delicious and easy Turkey Cheddar Lunch Roll Ups, perfect for lunchboxes and light dinners.
Ingredients
- 4 large tortilla wraps (whole wheat or regular)
- 8 slices of deli turkey
- 4 slices of cheddar cheese
- 1 cup of spinach or mixed greens
- ½ cup of sliced bell peppers (any color)
- ¼ cup of cream cheese (or hummus)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: sliced cucumbers, olives, or any preferred veggies
Instructions
- Gather all your ingredients on a clean cutting board or countertop.
- Take one tortilla wrap and spread a thin layer of cream cheese (or hummus) evenly over it.
- Place 2 slices of turkey on top of the cream cheese, covering the surface as much as possible.
- Lay 1 slice of cheddar cheese over the turkey.
- Scatter a handful of spinach (or mixed greens) and sliced bell peppers on top of the cheese.
- Sprinkle a pinch of salt and pepper to enhance the flavor.
- Starting from one end, carefully roll the tortilla tightly until you reach the other end.
- Using a sharp knife, cut the roll into bite-sized pieces, about 1 to 2 inches thick.
- Arrange the slices on a platter and serve immediately, or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for later.
- Continue the process for the remaining tortilla wraps until all ingredients are used.
Notes
Customize fillings with avocados, different cheeses, or fresh veggies. Best served fresh within 2 days of preparation.
