Ingredients
- Crusty bread (baguette, ciabatta, or sourdough)
- Sun-ripened tomatoes
- Creamy mozzarella cheese
- Fresh basil leaves
- Balsamic glaze
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Slice the bread into thick pieces, about half an inch thick, and place on a baking sheet.
- Toast the bread in the oven for 10 to 15 minutes until golden brown.
- While the bread is toasting, slice the tomatoes and mozzarella into rounds.
- Layer the tomato and mozzarella slices on top of the toasted bread.
