Instructions
- Bake the crust: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Press the sugar cookie dough evenly into a greased 14-inch pizza pan. Bake for 15–18 minutes until golden brown. Let the crust cool completely on a wire rack.
- Make the frosting: In a medium bowl, beat cream cheese and confectioners’ sugar until smooth. Gently fold in the whipped topping until light and fluffy.
- Assemble the pizza: Spread the cream cheese frosting evenly over the cooled sugar cookie crust. Arrange fresh fruit slices in decorative patterns (circles, stripes, or themed designs).
- Prepare the optional glaze: In a small saucepan, combine sugar, orange juice, water, lemon juice, and cornstarch. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens. Let cool slightly, then lightly brush over the fruit to enhance shine and preserve freshness.
- Chill & Serve: Refrigerate the fruit pizza for 1–2 hours before slicing and serving.
