Ingredients
- 2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 cup unsalted butter (softened)
- ¾ cup brown sugar
- ¾ cup white sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, and baking soda.
- In another bowl, beat the butter, brown sugar, and white sugar until smooth.
- Mix in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips.
- Scoop dough onto the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 9-11 minutes until the edges are golden.
- Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
For best results, ensure the butter is softened but not melted. Do not overmix the dough.
