A crispy, crunchy, and spicy Thai Fried Chicken Sandwich that combines juicy chicken, cool coleslaw, and flavorful Thai chili sauce.
Ingredients
- 4 pieces of chicken thighs
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- Vegetable oil for frying
- 4 brioche buns
- 1 cup coleslaw
- Thai chili sauce to taste
Instructions
- Marinate chicken in buttermilk for at least 2 hours.
- Mix flour, cornstarch, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Heat oil in a deep pan to 350°F (175°C).
- Coat marinated chicken in the flour mixture.
- Fry chicken for about 6-8 minutes until golden brown.
- Remove chicken and drain on paper towels.
- Assemble sandwiches with fried chicken, coleslaw, and chili sauce on brioche buns.
Notes
Marinating the chicken longer enhances juiciness; use vegetable oil for frying for best results.
