Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the brown sugar, soy sauce, melted butter, honey, garlic powder, black pepper, and paprika until smooth.
- Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet and brush generously with half of the glaze mixture, making sure to coat the tops and sides well.
- Bake for 8 minutes, then remove from the oven and brush with the remaining glaze mixture for extra flavor and shine.
- Return to the oven and bake for an additional 8-10 minutes, until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and the internal temperature reaches 145°F.
- Remove from the oven and let rest for 2 minutes. Sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley and serve immediately while hot.
Notes
Pat the salmon dry before applying the glaze to help it stick better. Adjust sweetness of glaze to taste.
