Description

A delightful dish bringing the taste of Texas Roadhouse to your kitchen, quick to prepare and packed with flavor.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the brown sugar, soy sauce, melted butter, honey, garlic powder, black pepper, and paprika until smooth.
  3. Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet and brush generously with half of the glaze mixture, making sure to coat the tops and sides well.
  4. Bake for 8 minutes, then remove from the oven and brush with the remaining glaze mixture for extra flavor and shine.
  5. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 8-10 minutes, until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and the internal temperature reaches 145°F.
  6. Remove from the oven and let rest for 2 minutes. Sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley and serve immediately while hot.

Notes

Pat the salmon dry before applying the glaze to help it stick better. Adjust sweetness of glaze to taste.
