Description

A delightful dish bringing the flavors of Texas into your kitchen with succulent chicken breasts and a rich, buttery sauce that’s savory and slightly sweet.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 tsp honey
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a small mixing bowl, combine the butter, honey, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for 5-6 minutes per side, until golden and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F). Once cooked, remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add chicken broth to deglaze the pan. Stir in the butter mixture and cook until smooth.
  4. Return the chicken to the skillet and coat it with the sauce. Simmer for 2-3 minutes to let the flavors blend.
  5. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.

Notes

Pat the chicken dry before cooking for a nice golden crust. Adjust honey for sweetness and consider adding vegetables for extra nutrition.
