Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons water
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix together the soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil.
- Marinate salmon fillets in the mixture for at least 30 minutes, turning halfway.
- Preheat your grill or skillet over medium heat.
- Remove salmon from the marinade and set aside the marinade for later.
- Cook salmon for about 4 to 5 minutes on each side until cooked through.
- In a saucepan, heat the reserved marinade over medium heat.
- Dissolve the cornstarch in water and add it to the saucepan, stirring until thickened.
- Serve salmon drizzled with the thick teriyaki sauce.
Notes
