Ingredients
- 4 cups sweet potatoes, peeled and mashed
- 2 cups mini marshmallows
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Boil or bake sweet potatoes until tender, then peel and mash them.
- In a mixing bowl, combine mashed sweet potatoes with butter, brown sugar, milk, vanilla extract, and salt.
- Spread the mixture in a baking dish.
- Top with marshmallows and chopped pecans.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until the marshmallows are golden brown.
- Serve warm as a side dish.
