Description
A quick and flavorful dish featuring chicken marinated in gochujang, honey, and soy sauce, perfect for impressing your guests without spending all day in the kitchen.
Ingredients
- 1 lb chicken thighs or breasts
- 2 tablespoons gochujang
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Sesame seeds and green onions for garnish
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine gochujang, honey, soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, salt, and pepper. This is your magic marinade.
- Add the chicken pieces to the bowl and coat them well with the marinade.
- Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes in the fridge.
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) or the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- If using an air fryer, place the chicken in the basket and cook for 15-20 minutes until fully cooked and crispy. If using the oven, lay the chicken on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes.
- Once cooked, garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving.
Notes
Letting the chicken marinate longer enhances flavor. Avoid skipping preheating and ensure chicken is cooked through (165°F/74°C).
