Description

A quick and flavorful dish featuring chicken marinated in gochujang, honey, and soy sauce, perfect for impressing your guests without spending all day in the kitchen.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken thighs or breasts
  • 2 tablespoons gochujang
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Sesame seeds and green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine gochujang, honey, soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, salt, and pepper. This is your magic marinade.
  2. Add the chicken pieces to the bowl and coat them well with the marinade.
  3. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes in the fridge.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) or the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  5. If using an air fryer, place the chicken in the basket and cook for 15-20 minutes until fully cooked and crispy. If using the oven, lay the chicken on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes.
  6. Once cooked, garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

Letting the chicken marinate longer enhances flavor. Avoid skipping preheating and ensure chicken is cooked through (165°F/74°C).
