A quick and easy recipe for Sweet & Sour Chicken featuring chicken, pineapple, and bell peppers in a tangy sauce.
Ingredients
- 1 lb chicken breast, diced
- 1 cup bell peppers, chopped
- 1 cup pineapple chunks
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup vinegar
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add chicken and cook until browned.
- Add onion and bell peppers. Cook until tender.
- Mix soy sauce, vinegar, sugar, and cornstarch in a bowl.
- Add pineapple and sauce to the pan.
- Stir until sauce thickens, about 5 minutes.
- Serve hot over rice.

Let the flavors marinate and don’t skip the cornstarch for sauce thickening.
