Description

A quick and easy recipe for Sweet & Sour Chicken featuring chicken, pineapple, and bell peppers in a tangy sauce.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast, diced
  • 1 cup bell peppers, chopped
  • 1 cup pineapple chunks
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup vinegar
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Add chicken and cook until browned.
  3. Add onion and bell peppers. Cook until tender.
  4. Mix soy sauce, vinegar, sugar, and cornstarch in a bowl.
  5. Add pineapple and sauce to the pan.
  6. Stir until sauce thickens, about 5 minutes.
  7. Serve hot over rice.
