Ingredients
- 1 lb steak, cut into strips
- 2 cups cooked rice
- 1 cup queso cheese
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- Chopped cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add steak strips to the skillet and season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Cook for 5-7 minutes until browned.
- Mix in cooked rice with the steak, stirring everything together.
- Pour queso cheese over the mixture and stir until the cheese is melted.
- Remove from heat and garnish with chopped cilantro.
Notes
Feel free to substitute steak with chicken, ground beef, or tofu. You can also add sautéed veggies for extra flavor.
