Ingredients
- 2 chicken breasts
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 hamburger buns
- Lettuce
- Tomato slices
- Pickles
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons hot sauce
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
Instructions
- Marinate the chicken breasts in buttermilk for at least 1 hour.
- In a bowl, mix flour, paprika, cayenne, salt, and pepper.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Remove chicken from buttermilk and dredge in the flour mixture.
- Fry the chicken for 6-8 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through.
- In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, hot sauce, and Dijon mustard to make the sauce.
- Toast the hamburger buns.
