Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1 packet brown gravy mix
- 1 cup beef broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Mashed potatoes or egg noodles for serving
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, and onion. Season with salt and pepper. Form into meatballs.
- Place meatballs in the slow cooker.
- In a separate bowl, mix brown gravy mix with beef broth, then pour over the meatballs.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until cooked through.
- Serve over mashed potatoes or egg noodles.
Notes
For added flavor, consider mixing Worcestershire sauce into the meatball mixture or experimenting with dried herbs.
