Description

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs chicken thighs
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup sriracha sauce
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil (optional)
  • Green onions for garnish


Instructions

  1. Place chicken thighs in the slow cooker.
  2. In a bowl, combine honey, sriracha, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil. Whisk until well mixed.
  3. Pour the sauce over the chicken, ensuring each thigh is coated.
  4. Cover and cook on low for about 6 hours or high for 3 hours.
  5. Once cooked, shred the chicken in the pot and mix with the sauce.
  6. Serve in bowls, garnished with green onions.

Notes

For best results, use fresh garlic and ginger. You can serve this chicken with rice, noodles, or in tacos.
