Ingredients
- 4 large apples, cored and sliced
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons butter
Instructions
- Core and slice the apples into bite-sized pieces.
- In a bowl, mix together the brown sugar and cinnamon.
- Drizzle lemon juice over the sliced apples and toss to coat.
- Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture over the apples and stir well.
- Transfer the apple mixture to the slow cooker.
- Dot the apples with butter.
- Cover and cook on low for about 4 hours or until the apples are tender.
Notes
