Ingredients
- 1 cut of roast beef
- Soft bread (rolls or loaf)
- 1 jar of brown gravy
- Salt and pepper
- Mashed potatoes (optional)
- Roasted vegetables (optional)
Instructions
- Season the roast beef with salt and pepper, rubbing it in well.
- Place the seasoned roast beef in the slow cooker.
- Pour the brown gravy over the beef.
- Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until the beef is tender.
- Shred the beef and serve it over slices of soft bread, topped with extra gravy.
- Optionally, serve with mashed potatoes or roasted vegetables.
Notes
Be sure to let leftover beef sit for a day for flavors to meld. Use fresh or thawed beef for best results.
