Description

A quick and easy skillet lasagna that’s perfect for a weeknight meal, combining all the delicious flavors of classic lasagna in a one-pan dish.


Ingredients

  • 12 lasagna noodles, broken
  • 1 pound ground beef (or turkey)
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 28 ounces crushed tomatoes
  • 15 ounces ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef with the chopped onion and minced garlic. Drain any extra fat.
  2. Add the crushed tomatoes and broken lasagna noodles to the same skillet, mixing well.
  3. Stir in the Italian seasoning, along with salt and pepper. Mix thoroughly.
  4. Let it simmer for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Once the noodles are tender, drop spoonfuls of ricotta cheese on top.
  6. Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese on top and cover. Cook for about 5 minutes or until the cheese is melted.

Notes

Feel free to customize with extra veggies or different cheeses. Leftovers taste even better the next day.
