Ingredients
- 1 pound flank steak, thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 1 each red, yellow, and green bell pepper, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 inch ginger, minced
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 green onions, chopped for garnish
Instructions
- Marinate the sliced flank steak by combining soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, and black pepper in a bowl. Add the beef and let it marinate for 15 minutes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated steak and sear for 3-4 minutes without stirring.
- Flip the steak and cook for another 2-3 minutes, then set aside.
- Add sliced onions to the skillet and stir-fry for about 2 minutes until softened.
- Add bell peppers, garlic, and ginger, and stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.
- Return the cooked steak to the skillet, stirring everything together for an additional minute.
- Drizzle sesame oil over the dish, tossing to combine and serve immediately, garnished with chopped green onions.
