Description

Delicious and easy Shrimp Avocado Crostini that are a perfect snack or appetizer, blending crispy bread with creamy avocado and succulent shrimp.


Ingredients

  • 1 baguette, sliced
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • Fresh cilantro, for garnish


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet and brush with olive oil.
  3. Bake bread for 5-7 minutes until golden.
  4. In a pan, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  5. Add shrimp, season with salt and pepper, and cook until pink.
  6. In a bowl, mash avocados and mix in lime juice, salt, and pepper.
  7. Spread avocado mixture on toasted bread.
  8. Top each slice with shrimp and garnish with cilantro.

Notes

For best results, don’t skip preheating the oven and avoid overcooking the shrimp.
