Delicious and easy Shrimp Avocado Crostini that are a perfect snack or appetizer, blending crispy bread with creamy avocado and succulent shrimp.
Ingredients
- 1 baguette, sliced
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 ripe avocados
- 1 lime, juiced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- Fresh cilantro, for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet and brush with olive oil.
- Bake bread for 5-7 minutes until golden.
- In a pan, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté garlic until fragrant.
- Add shrimp, season with salt and pepper, and cook until pink.
- In a bowl, mash avocados and mix in lime juice, salt, and pepper.
- Spread avocado mixture on toasted bread.
- Top each slice with shrimp and garnish with cilantro.
Notes
For best results, don’t skip preheating the oven and avoid overcooking the shrimp.
