Description
A comforting twist on traditional pot pie with a blend of succulent seafood, creamy filling, and flaky biscuits.
Ingredients
- 2 cups mixed seafood (shrimp, scallops, and crab)
- 1 cup diced potatoes
- 1 cup frozen peas and carrots
- 1/2 cup diced onions
- 2 cups seafood stock
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 can refrigerated biscuits
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large pot, sauté onions until translucent.
- Add potatoes, peas, and carrots; cook for 5 minutes.
- Stir in mixed seafood, garlic powder, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Sprinkle flour over the mixture and stir well.
- Pour in seafood stock and milk; cook until thickened.
- Transfer the mixture to a baking dish.
- Place biscuits on top of the filling.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until biscuits are golden brown.
Notes
Use fresh seafood for the best flavor. Adjust thickness of sauce with flour as needed. Can be made vegetarian by replacing seafood with vegetables.
