Description
A delightful breakfast roll filled with crumbled sausage, fluffy scrambled eggs, and melted cheese, wrapped in flaky pastry.
Ingredients
- 1 tube of refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 2 cooked sausages, crumbled
- 4 large eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup shredded cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and lay it flat on a baking sheet.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Pour the egg mixture over the laid-out crescent dough.
- Sprinkle the crumbled sausage evenly atop the egg mixture. If using, add the shredded cheese.
- Roll up the dough, pinching the seams to seal everything inside.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly, slice, and serve warm.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
