Description

A delightful breakfast roll filled with crumbled sausage, fluffy scrambled eggs, and melted cheese, wrapped in flaky pastry.


Ingredients

  • 1 tube of refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 2 cooked sausages, crumbled
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Unroll the crescent roll dough and lay it flat on a baking sheet.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  4. Pour the egg mixture over the laid-out crescent dough.
  5. Sprinkle the crumbled sausage evenly atop the egg mixture. If using, add the shredded cheese.
  6. Roll up the dough, pinching the seams to seal everything inside.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool slightly, slice, and serve warm.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
