Description

Delicious cookies that blend the rich flavors of cheesecake and salted caramel in a fun, chewy treat.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup salted caramel sauce


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
  5. In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese and powdered sugar together until smooth.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of cookie dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Using a spoon, swirl a bit of the cream cheese mixture into each cookie.
  8. Drizzle with salted caramel sauce.
  9. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
  10. Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. For longer storage, freeze in a freezer-safe container.
