Description

Delicious and healthy Salmon Balls paired with a rich creamy avocado sauce, perfect for family dinners or casual gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb fresh skinless salmon fillets
  • 1 cup plain breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tbsp fresh dill or parsley, chopped
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 ripe avocado
  • ½ cup plain Greek yogurt
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Flake the salmon into small pieces in a large bowl.
  3. Add the breadcrumbs, egg, herbs, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix everything until well combined.
  4. Form small balls, about 1 inch in size, and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  5. Bake the salmon balls for 20-25 minutes until they are golden brown.
  6. While the salmon balls are baking, blend the avocado, Greek yogurt, lemon juice, salt, and pepper in a blender until smooth to make the sauce.
  7. Serve the salmon balls warm with the creamy avocado sauce.

Notes

Use fresh salmon for the best flavor. Can be made gluten-free with appropriate breadcrumbs.
