Description
Delicious Roasted Pepper and Feta Tartlets wrapped in buttery puff pastry, perfect for appetizers or snacks.
Ingredients
- 1 sheet of puff pastry
- 2 roasted red peppers, diced
- 100g feta cheese, crumbled
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
- Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface.
- Cut the pastry into squares and place them in a muffin tin.
- In a bowl, mix the roasted peppers, feta cheese, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
- Spoon the mixture into each pastry shell.
- Brush the edges of the pastry with the beaten egg.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
Notes
For longer storage, freeze tartlets for up to 2 months. Reheat in the oven at 180°C (350°F) for about 10-15 minutes.
