- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 large egg
- 1 tablespoon red food coloring

- Roll the chilled dough into balls and then roll in powdered sugar until fully coated.
- Place the balls on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them a few inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the cookies are set but still soft in the middle.
- Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
