Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup sugar

  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon red food coloring
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon milk


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the flour, cocoa powder, sugar, salt, baking powder, and baking soda.
  3. In another bowl, combine the milk, vegetable oil, egg, food coloring, and vanilla.
  4. Combine the wet and dry ingredients until a dough forms.
  5. Roll out the dough into a rectangle.
  6. Spread softened butter over the dough.
  7. Mix the brown sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle over the butter.
  8. Roll the dough tightly and cut into rolls.
  9. Place rolls in a greased baking dish.
  10. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until golden.
  11. For the frosting, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and milk until smooth.
  12. Spread frosting over warm rolls.
