Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 large egg
- 1 tablespoon red food coloring
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup cream cheese
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tablespoon milk
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix the flour, cocoa powder, sugar, salt, baking powder, and baking soda.
- In another bowl, combine the milk, vegetable oil, egg, food coloring, and vanilla.
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients until a dough forms.
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle.
- Spread softened butter over the dough.
- Mix the brown sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle over the butter.
- Roll the dough tightly and cut into rolls.
- Place rolls in a greased baking dish.
- Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until golden.
- For the frosting, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and milk until smooth.
- Spread frosting over warm rolls.
