A fast and tasty beef and broccoli dish that comes together quickly for a satisfying meal.
Ingredients
- 1 pound beef sirloin, sliced thin
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch. Add the sliced beef and let it marinate for about 10 minutes.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the garlic and ginger, sautéing for about 30 seconds.
- Add the marinated beef to the skillet and cook until browned.
- Toss in the broccoli and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until the broccoli is tender but still bright green.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot.
Notes
For alternatives, chicken or tofu can replace beef. If using broccoli, consider other veggies like bell peppers or snap peas.
