Ingredients

  • 1 pound beef sirloin, sliced thin
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch. Add the sliced beef and let it marinate for about 10 minutes.
  2. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the garlic and ginger, sautéing for about 30 seconds.
  3. Add the marinated beef to the skillet and cook until browned.
  4. Toss in the broccoli and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until the broccoli is tender but still bright green.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot.

Notes

For alternatives, chicken or tofu can replace beef. If using broccoli, consider other veggies like bell peppers or snap peas.
