Description

A creamy, cheesy baked pasta dish featuring tender chicken and rich Alfredo sauce. Perfect for a comforting family dinner and easily customizable with your favorite vegetables.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken breast (or rotisserie chicken), shredded or chopped
  • 12 oz penne or fettuccine pasta
  • 2 cups Alfredo sauce (jarred or homemade)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Optional: spinach, mushrooms, or broccoli
  • Salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta in salted water until just al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  3. In a large bowl, combine the cooked pasta, chicken, Alfredo sauce, half of the mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses. Add salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning to taste. Mix well.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13-inch baking dish and spread it evenly.
  5. Top with the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses.
  6. Bake uncovered for 20–25 minutes, or until the top is bubbly and golden brown.
  7. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve warm.

Notes

To add more nutrients, stir in steamed broccoli or sautéed mushrooms and spinach before baking. Can be made ahead and reheated. Great for potlucks or meal prep.
