Ingredients
- 4 chicken breasts
- 2 cups crushed pretzels
- 1/2 cup flour
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
- 1/4 cup milk
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- Dredge each chicken breast in flour.
- Dip the floured chicken in beaten eggs.
- Coat the chicken in crushed pretzels.
- Place the chicken on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
- In a saucepan, combine shredded cheddar cheese, Dijon mustard, and milk; heat until the cheese melts.
- Serve the chicken with the mustard-cheddar sauce drizzled on top.
Notes
For a crunchier result, substitute panko breadcrumbs for pretzels. This dish is kid-friendly and perfect for leftovers.
