Description

A heartwarming Potsticker Soup featuring savory broth and tender dumplings, perfect for chilly nights and family dinners.

Ingredients

  • 1 package (12 oz) pork or chicken dumplings
  • 4 cups low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)
  • 2 cups fresh spinach or bok choy
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil

Instructions

  1. In a large pot over medium heat, add a splash of oil. Sauté the minced garlic and grated ginger until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  2. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a gentle boil.
  3. Add the dumplings and cook in the simmering broth until tender, about 6-8 minutes.
  4. Stir in spinach or bok choy along with soy sauce and cook until wilted, about 2-3 minutes.
  5. Drizzle in sesame oil before serving.
  6. Ladle the soup into bowls and garnish with chopped green onions.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days or freeze for up to 2 months. Reheat gently to avoid overcooking the dumplings.
