A refreshing and simple Polish Cucumber Salad featuring crunchy cucumbers and creamy sour cream, perfect for summer barbecues or light snacks.
Ingredients
- 1 cucumber, sliced very thin
- 1/3 cup sour cream
- ¼ teaspoon salt (more or less to taste)
- 1 tablespoon chives, finely chopped (more or less to taste)
- 1 tablespoon fresh dill (more or less to taste)
- 1 tablespoon vinegar (red wine or other)
Instructions
- Wash the cucumber, pat it dry, and cut it into thin slices.
- In a separate bowl, mix the sour cream with salt, chives, dill, and vinegar.
- Toss in the cucumber slices and enjoy.
Notes
For extra flavor, let the salad sit in the fridge for about 30 minutes before serving. Adjust salt and vinegar to taste. Can be personalized with other herbs or ingredients.
