Ingredients
- 2 cups mixed dried fruits
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup milk
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix the dried fruits, flour, breadcrumbs, brown sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt until combined.
- In another bowl, cream the butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients, mixing until evenly textured.
- Gradually stir in milk until the batter is smooth and creamy.
- Pour the mixture into a greased pudding mold, distributing evenly.
- Bake for 1 hour until a toothpick comes out clean, then let cool before serving.
