Description

A simple and fresh salsa that adds a zing to any meal, perfect for tacos or dipping with chips.


Ingredients

  • 4 ripe tomatoes, diced
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 bunch of cilantro, chopped
  • 2 jalapeño peppers, seeded and minced
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • Salt to taste


Instructions

  1. Dice the tomatoes and place them in a bowl.
  2. Finely chop the onion and add it to the tomatoes.
  3. Chop the cilantro and add it to the mixture.
  4. Seed and mince the jalapeño peppers and add them.
  5. Juice the lime and pour it over the mixture.
  6. Add salt to taste and mix well.
  7. Let it sit for 15 minutes to allow flavors to meld.

Notes

For a twist, try mixing in mango or pineapple instead of tomatoes.
