Description
A simple and fresh salsa that adds a zing to any meal, perfect for tacos or dipping with chips.
Ingredients
- 4 ripe tomatoes, diced
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1 bunch of cilantro, chopped
- 2 jalapeño peppers, seeded and minced
- 1 lime, juiced
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Dice the tomatoes and place them in a bowl.
- Finely chop the onion and add it to the tomatoes.
- Chop the cilantro and add it to the mixture.
- Seed and mince the jalapeño peppers and add them.
- Juice the lime and pour it over the mixture.
- Add salt to taste and mix well.
- Let it sit for 15 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
Notes
For a twist, try mixing in mango or pineapple instead of tomatoes.
