A delicious twist on classic favorites, these Philly cheesesteak stuffed breadsticks combine gooey cheese, tender beef, and fresh vegetables wrapped in a flaky crust.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef steak, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup bell peppers, sliced
  • 1 cup onions, sliced
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 package refrigerated breadstick dough
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Garlic powder (optional)
  • Parsley for garnish (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven according to the breadstick dough package instructions.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onions and bell peppers, sauté until softened (4-5 minutes).
  3. Add thinly sliced beef to the skillet; cook until browned. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in 1 cup of mozzarella cheese until melted.
  5. Roll out the breadstick dough and cut into rectangles.
  6. Place a spoonful of cheesesteak mixture in each dough rectangle; sprinkle more cheese on top.
  7. Fold the dough over the filling and pinch to seal.
  8. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place filled breadsticks on it.
  9. Bake according to package instructions until golden brown.
  10. Garnish with parsley if desired. Serve warm with dipping sauce.
