Description

A quick and cheesy mash-up of Sloppy Joes and Philly cheesesteak that is sure to please any crowd.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 green bell pepper, diced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 2 tbsp A-1 sauce
  • 1 tbsp steak seasoning
  • 4 toasted buns
  • 4 slices provolone cheese


Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat, breaking it apart into fine crumbles.
  2. Add diced onion and green pepper, sauté until tender for about 3 to 5 minutes.
  3. Pour in beef broth and A-1 sauce, season with steak seasoning, and let simmer for 10 to 15 minutes.
  4. Toast the buns in the oven or on a skillet until golden brown.
