A quick and cheesy mash-up of Sloppy Joes and Philly cheesesteak that is sure to please any crowd.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 green bell pepper, diced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 2 tbsp A-1 sauce
- 1 tbsp steak seasoning
- 4 toasted buns
- 4 slices provolone cheese
Instructions
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat, breaking it apart into fine crumbles.
- Add diced onion and green pepper, sauté until tender for about 3 to 5 minutes.
- Pour in beef broth and A-1 sauce, season with steak seasoning, and let simmer for 10 to 15 minutes.
- Toast the buns in the oven or on a skillet until golden brown.
- Serve the beef mixture on toasted buns and top with sliced provolone cheese.
