Ingredients
- 3 ripe bananas
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- Pinch of salt
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 4×8 inch loaf pan.
- Mash the ripe bananas in a mixing bowl until smooth. Stir in the melted butter.
- Mix in the baking soda and salt.
- Stir in the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract.
- Mix in the flour until just incorporated.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
- Bake for 60-65 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
Use very ripe bananas for the best flavor and sweetness. Don’t overmix the batter to keep the bread light and fluffy.
