Description

A simple yet decadent dessert that combines the flavors of pecan pie in an easy dump cake form.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup corn syrup
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup chopped pecans


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix corn syrup, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until blended.
  3. Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish and sprinkle the dry yellow cake mix on top without mixing.
  4. Drizzle melted butter evenly over the cake mix.
  5. Top with chopped pecans.
  6. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
