A simple yet decadent dessert that combines the flavors of pecan pie in an easy dump cake form.
Ingredients
- 1 cup corn syrup
- 1 cup sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1 cup melted butter
- 1 cup chopped pecans
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mix corn syrup, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until blended.
- Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish and sprinkle the dry yellow cake mix on top without mixing.
- Drizzle melted butter evenly over the cake mix.
- Top with chopped pecans.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
