A warm and cozy Pear Walnut Oatmeal recipe that’s easy to make and packed with fiber and healthy fats. Perfect for breakfast or a snack!
Ingredients
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 2 cups water or milk
- 1 ripe pear, diced
- 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- A pinch of salt
Instructions
- In a pot, bring your water or milk to a boil.
- Add the rolled oats and a pinch of salt. Reduce heat and let it simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Stir in the diced pear and cinnamon. Cook for another 2 to 3 minutes, until the pear is warmed and tender.
- Remove from heat and drizzle honey or maple syrup on top.
- Top with chopped walnuts before serving.
Notes
Avoid using unripe pears for better texture. You can make this ahead of time and reheat when ready to eat.
