Delicious and healthy oven-baked tacos made with lean ground turkey and packed with flavor.
Ingredients
- 1 lb lean ground turkey
- 1 small batch homemade seasoning blend
- 1 can black beans, drained
- 1 can green chiles
- 1 cup Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
- 4 flour tortillas
- 1 ripe avocado
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a skillet, cook the ground turkey over medium heat until browned. Add the homemade seasoning blend, black beans, and green chiles, stirring well.
- Place the flour tortillas on a baking sheet.
- Spoon the turkey mixture onto the tortillas and top with Monterey Jack cheese.
- Bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Meanwhile, prepare the avocado dipping sauce by mashing the avocado and mixing it with sour cream, salt, and pepper.
- Serve the tacos hot with the avocado dipping sauce on the side.
