  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1 cup orzo pasta
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for cooking
  • Parmesan cheese for topping (optional)


Instructions

  1. In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add diced onion, bell pepper, and minced garlic; sauté until softened, stirring occasionally.
  3. Add the ground turkey and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula for even cooking.
  4. Stir in the orzo, chicken broth, diced tomatoes, and Italian seasoning, making sure to combine everything thoroughly.
