Ingredients
- 1 pound beef sirloin, sliced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 8 ounces egg noodles
Instructions
- In a large pot, brown the beef over medium heat.
- Add onions and garlic, cooking until soft.
- Stir in mushrooms and cook until tender.
- Sprinkle flour over mixture and stir well.
- Add beef broth and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and add egg noodles, cooking until tender.
- Stir in sour cream and Worcestershire sauce.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Notes
For a lighter version, use Greek yogurt instead of sour cream. Serve with a crisp green salad to balance the richness.
