Description

A simple and delicious recipe for cheesy, saucy meatballs made in one pan, perfect for a quick meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a big bowl, toss together the ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, egg, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
  4. In a large oven-safe pan, heat the marinara sauce over medium heat.
  5. Add the meatballs to the sauce and simmer for about 10 minutes.
  6. Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese on top of the meatballs.
  7. Transfer the pan to the oven and bake for about 15-20 minutes.

Notes

Feel free to use ground turkey or chicken instead of beef for a lighter version.
