Description

A quick and easy breakfast of creamy oatmeal with mixed berries that is both delicious and nutritious.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 2 cups water or milk
  • 1 cup mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt


Instructions

  1. In a pot, bring water or milk to a boil.
  2. Add your rolled oats and a pinch of salt.
  3. Reduce the heat and simmer for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in the cinnamon.
  5. Serve oatmeal in bowls and top with mixed berries.
  6. Drizzle with honey or maple syrup if desired.
  7. Enjoy!

Notes

You can make a big batch and store it in the fridge for later. Feel free to mix and match the fruits based on your preference.
